Annual Report 2022

Following our establishment year in 2021, the past twelve months were a busy time our Centre.

Centre members and partners were busy in 2022. They nurtured research programs and creating evidence-based resources for our key audiences.

We launched our Centre with an event attended by the Federal Minister for Education Jason Clare MP and Australian Research Council Chief Executive Officer Ms Judi Zielke PSM in September 2022.

We also delivered multiple research and training events across our nodes.

Two new Chief Investigators joined the Centre: Professor Grace Sarra (QUT) and Associate Professor Lennie Barblett AM (Edith Cowan University).

Other highlights for the year included awards for our members, new appointments, and new grants and scholarships.

Annual Report 2021

This report charts achievements in our establishment year as we built the foundation for delivering our vision of Australian children being healthy, educated and connected.

We are delighted to report the establishment of the Centre Advisory Committee. Drawn from academia, government and community, the respected members of the Advisory Committee provide strategic direction for the Centre.

Our advisory committee have a key focus on how to equitably support children from all Australian contexts in a digital age. These directions are embedded within our new Strategic Plan. The plan was produced through excellent Centre-wide conversations with members to encapsulate our vision, priorities and actions.
